XTE 700 has a 15" cone woofer with a new design.
The heat dispersion that is inside produced is given by
a proper dissipator, which is in the low side of the
basket.
The coil is winded on a kapton former in order to assure
the highest thermic overload resistance (300° C).
The special spiders are made in SD (silicon damped)
technology, in order to guarantee the highest efficiency
at high power levels. The weather resistance is good
thanks to water repellent cone and to the unalterable
horn, moulded with special resins.
The tweeter is provided with a constant directivity horn
90°x90°, together with a 1" compression driver.
The driver diaphragm is in carbon fiber with a special
equalizer of a static air pressure. The coil is wrapped on
a very rigid fiber-glass support for the best
electroacoustic efficiency.
Filtro
The XTE 700 has a 2 way crossover filter with 12db/oct
high pass and low pass.
It is made using professional components as air coils,
250V soundproofing capacitors, high dissipation
resistances.
The filter has an inductive compensation system for the
woofer and an equalization system for the tweeter.
Cabinet
The loudspeaker cabinet is made with a 19 mm special
wood mixture that is able to resist at any mechanical
stress without vibrating.
The cabinet is externally covered in Agugliato HDSC
(Heavy Duty Speaker Cover).
